Cancellation Policy – The Acupuncture Woman

Booking an appointment confirms your acceptance of the following terms.

We value your time and appreciate your trust in our care. Each appointment represents a dedicated time slot reserved exclusively for you, and late changes or missed sessions impact our ability to serve others.

Notice Requirements

We kindly request 48 hours’ notice for any appointment changes or cancellations. However, a minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to avoid a cancellation fee.

Cancellation Fees

If you cancel or reschedule less than 24 hours before your appointment, or fail to attend, the following fees apply:

  • Acupuncture session: $50
  • Cupping session: $20
  • Initial consultation no-show: $75

These fees are not claimable through insurance and are your personal responsibility.

Late Arrivals

Please note that arriving late may reduce your treatment time, as we strive to maintain punctuality for all clients.

Fairness and Transparency

This policy is designed to be fair and transparent, in line with the New Zealand Fair Trading Act. Cancellation fees are applied only when reasonable notice is not provided and are intended to cover costs incurred due to missed appointments.
