Pediatric Acupuncture

As a US military veteran, he saw how acupuncture helped his comrades deal with combat stress and PTSD. Now a doctor at the UC Davis Children’s Hospital, Dr. Arthur de Lorimier is using Pediatric Acupuncture and TCM to help children with great results.

Clinical experience observed that acupuncture in many cases offers a better symptom remediation than pharmaceuticals. These often come with side affects. It has been used with some success in treating infants and children afflicted with a wide variety of conditions, including: colic, indigestion, GERD, constipation, and diarrhea. It has even shown some success in the treatment of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), allergies, asthma, eczema, hives, bedwetting, and stuttering. Children as young as one month old have been effectively treated.

Clinical studies showed that pediatric acupuncture used in different age groups from infant to 18 years had good results in many areas but especially in page, fatigue and anxiety.

At The Acupuncture Woman we offer pediatric acupuncture along with TCM herbs to support children with different symptoms.
Similar to what Dr. de Lorimier observed in his clinic and to what is mentioned in the study, we had success with
– Anxiety
– Pain and chronic pain
– Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
– Eczema, Neurodermatitis
and other conditions.
